Job summary

Drug Plastics & Glass Company Inc. is seeking a Packer Inspector for the 2nd shift on-site in the United States. You will verify bottles, prepare cartons, label as required, and ensure products meet customer specifications.

This full-time role requires good math, clear communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will document shift results, alert supervisors to issues, and maintain clean work areas while adhering to GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Plastics industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Obtain empty cartons from conveyor or other sources.
• Prepare the carton to receive the stacked or tumble packed product.
• Apply carton labels as defined in DPG Policy.
• Inspect bottles according to PQS form.
• Remove full cartons and close the carton per DP&G procedure.
• Grind all clean scrap and rejected bottles.
• Complete and provide daily production reports to supervisor.
• Notify supervisor of product quality problems or machine issues.
• Enter production data into Plant Star system at shift end.
• Communicate machine or production issues to the next shift.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas around equipment.
• Remain fully qualified per Job Competencies for Packer/Inspector.
• Follow GMPs and company policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
