Job summary

Drug Plastics Group in Pennsylvania is seeking a Part-Time Packer-Inspector for 1st shift to support our bottles and closures manufacturing. You will handle packing, labeling, and inspection tasks while adhering to PQS standards. Responsibilities include preparing cartons, recording production data, and communicating issues to the next shift.

Prior manufacturing experience is preferred; plastics experience is a plus. Overtime may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic math calculations and measurements accurately.
• Clear written and oral communication skills for shift handoffs and reports.
• Ability to read and interpret product quality specifications and PQS forms.
• Demonstrated decision making and problem solving in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain empty cartons from conveyor or other sources.
• Prepare cartons for stack or tumble packing and place as required.
• Apply carton labels as defined in DPG Policy #002.
• Inspect bottles according to DPG policy and PQS sheets.
• Remove full cartons and close them per DP G procedures.
• Grind scrap and rejected bottles generated by the machines.
• Complete daily production reports and notify supervisors of issues.
• Enter production information into Plant Star system at shift end.
