Job summary

Celestica, Inc. is seeking a Quality Team Leader 1 to supervise Quality Support staff in a manufacturing environment and drive corrective actions.

You will review defects, prepare reports, notify teams, and ensure timely NCMR submissions. You will plan shifts and overtime, generate daily and weekly quality performance reports, monitor IQA output, provide training, ensure 5S compliance, and escalate issues to management as needed.

Qualifications

• Four to six years of relevant experience in quality/inspection.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610, ISO standards, and AQL sampling.
• Experience supervising and training Quality Support staff.
• Ability to communicate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Review defects found by Quality Inspector, prepare reports, notify and drive corrective actions with the team.
• Verify defect photos and submit NCMR to the MRB team.
• Plan working hours and overtime for employees on Quality Support shifts; generate daily/weekly quality reports.
• Provide direct supervision and training to Quality Support staff; monitor IQA output and backlog; maintain 5S and housekeeping.
• Escalate quality incidents to management; coordinate lab analyses and MRB-related activities; prioritize incoming material for inspection to support production.
• Knowledge of product quality requirements, IPC-A-610, ISO standards, sampling plans (AQL), and basic quality tools; lead, train, and motivate the team.
