MS Companies is seeking a motivated Quality Supervisor 1 to lead inspection teams in a manufacturing setting. The role focuses on supervising daily operations, ensuring quality standards, and leveraging MS Companies’ technology-driven systems to improve performance and efficiency.

The position requires 2–3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or light industrial environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with quality systems, reporting tools, and process improvement initiatives.
• Proficiency with digital systems (e.g., Salesforce or similar platforms) preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and lead teams effectively.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
• Flexibility to work any shift based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of quality inspectors to ensure performance, productivity, and quality standards are consistently met.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment to support safety and efficiency.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and client-specific requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain work instructions and quality processes.
• Monitor production processes, control points, equipment, and personnel to ensure quality standards are achieved.
• Analyze production and quality data to identify trends, drive improvements, and support cost reduction initiatives.
• Communicate expectations clearly; monitor performance and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
• Address employee relations matters including attendance, performance, and behavioral concerns in partnership with HR.
• Train, mentor, and develop team members to support operational success and career growth.
• Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and service excellence.
• Coordinate staffing and scheduling to meet production demands and customer requirements.
• Accurately enter and manage time, production data, and other required inputs within company systems.
