Job summary

Ms Companies is seeking a motivated and experienced Quality Supervisor 1 to lead inspection teams in a manufacturing environment. This role oversees daily operations, ensures quality standards are met, and drives performance using MS Companies’ technology-driven systems.

The candidate will supervise quality inspectors, maintain safety, coach team members, and sustain strong customer relationships while coordinating staffing to meet production demands in Madison, AL.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or light industrial environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with quality systems, reporting tools, and process improvement initiatives.
• Proficiency with digital systems (e.g., Salesforce or similar platforms) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of quality inspectors to ensure performance, productivity, and quality standards are consistently met
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment to support safety and efficiency
• Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and client-specific requirements
• Develop, implement, and maintain work instructions and quality processes
• Monitor production processes, control points, equipment, and personnel to ensure quality standards are achieved
• Analyze production and quality data to identify trends, drive improvements, and support cost reduction initiatives
• Communicate expectations clearly; monitor performance and provide ongoing feedback and coaching
• Address employee relations matters including attendance, performance, and behavioral concerns in partnership with HR
• Train, mentor, and develop team members to support operational success and career growth
• Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and service excellence
• Coordinate staffing and scheduling to meet production demands and customer requirements
• Accurately enter and manage time, production data, and other required inputs within company systems
