Job summary

MS Companies is seeking a Quality Operations Supervisor in the automotive industry to lead a team of inspectors, ensure product quality, and work with our proprietary technology. The role involves developing work instructions, analyzing production records, coaching staff, and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience leading/supervising employees (min 5) in manufacturing/light industrial
• Disciplined approach to managing responsibilities
• Self-starter with autonomy to set and achieve goals
• Ability to stand for 10-12 hours and lift a minimum of 30 lbs
• Flexibility to work on any shift

Responsibilities

• Develop work instructions
• Provide quality manufacturing support by analyzing production records and suggesting improvements
• Maintain quality by monitoring the process, control points, equipment, and personnel
• Communicate expectations to employees, monitor and appraise job results, enforce systems, policies, and procedures
• Maintain collaborative relationships with customers
• Coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees as required
• Complete production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel as necessary
• Maintain quality staff and service by training employees
• Enter time, data, and other inputs into automated system to maintain customer satisfaction and morale
• Resolve personnel problems by employee complaints and collaborate with HR
