Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Quality Specialist to manage excursions and drive process improvements from NPI to mass production. You will lead audits, develop quality plans, monitor KPIs, and coach junior staff to elevate quality across the organization.

The role emphasizes ISO/IPC compliance, cross-functional collaboration, and timely implementation of changes to ensure product quality, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of quality tools and ISO/IPC standards.
• Ability to generate and present data-driven reports.
• Understanding of product and manufacturing processes.
• Awareness of how decisions affect customer satisfaction and delivery.
• Familiarity with FMEA, PMP, SPC, 8D methodologies.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Kaizen.
• Strong communication with internal & external customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to handle quality excursions and take timely actions.
• Oversee product and material quality from NPI to mass production.
• Develop the quality control plan for material, process and product areas.
• Monitor and report quality KPIs for internal (factory) and external (customer).
• Drive continuous improvement benefiting customer, Celestica and supplier.
• Lead audits (process/product/system/supplier) and follow up actions.
• Maintain internal quality system, procedures, and workmanship standards.
• Support EC and SPCN changes to ensure timely implementation.
• Coach junior quality staff to enhance knowledge and skills.
• Contribute to quality strategy deployment and assigned tasks.
