Job summary

Celestica Inc. in Maple Grove, MN is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead quality planning, corrective actions, and continual improvement across NPI to production.

You will manage audits, KPI reporting, and supplier quality, coordinating with internal teams and customers to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery. The role requires 4–6 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong knowledge of ISO and IPC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4–6 years in a similar role or industry.
• Strong knowledge of ISO and IPC standards and processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to handle all quality excursions independently and take effective actions on time.
• Oversee the product and material quality from NPI to mass production.
• Develop the quality control plan for respective area (material/process/product).
• Monitor and report quality KPI for internal (factory) and external (customer).
• Drive continuous improvement to benefit customer, CLS and supplier.
• Develop and maintain internal quality system, procedures, work instructions and workmanship standards.
• Lead process/product/system/supplier audits and improvement actions follow up.
• Follow up Engineering Change (EC) and SPCN to ensure timely implementation of changes.
• Coach junior quality staff to improve their quality knowledge.
• Participate in the quality strategy deployment.
