Job summary

TriCities Hospital in Hopewell, VA is seeking a Quality Coordinator RN to lead quality management initiatives within the hospital and its division. The role collaborates with leadership to develop and implement quality strategies, drives cost-reduction efforts, and ensures regulatory compliance across departments.

The ideal candidate has an RN license (Virginia or compact), a BSN is preferred, and a Master’s in a health-related field is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Requires RN license (Virginia or compact) and a BSN preferred.
• Master’s degree in health-related field preferred; certification in Quality and/or Risk is a plus.
• Leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with thorough understanding of quality and risk management theory.

Responsibilities

• Develops and leads quality management strategies with Hospital & Division leadership.
• Directs the Quality Management Department in quality improvement and cost-reduction efforts.
• Facilitates Root Cause Analyses and proactive risk assessments and educates staff on quality activities.
• Participates in hospital committees and staff orientation related to Quality.
• Maintains and enhances database management skills and supports continuing education.
