Job summary

The role focuses on improving patient outcomes, auditing facilities for CMS, health department and OSHA standards, and mentoring nursing leadership across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Regional clinical experience preferred.
• Regional or Director of Nursing experience in skilled nursing and long-term care.
• Compact license valid in Virginia.
• Level of Education: Bachelor\'s Degree Required.

Responsibilities

• Partners with facility administrators and department managers to address compliance gaps and implement corrective action plans
• Conducts regular site visits and inspections to monitor adherence to policies and procedures
• Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance patient outcomes and facility operations.
• Audits skilled nursing facilities to ensure compliance with CMS, state Department of Health, and OSHA regulations
• Provides mentorship and support to nursing leadership and clinical staff across facilities
• Prepares audit reports and communicates findings and recommendations to senior leadership
• Stays current on changes to CMS regulations, state nursing home requirements, and industry best practices
