Job summary

Baxter's Round Lake, IL facility seeks a Quality Lab Associate to support microbiology testing and environmental monitoring, ensuring product quality and regulatory compliance.

You will perform sterility and endotoxin testing, manage data in LIMS, contribute to CAPA investigations, and work a first shift (Tue-Sat) with occasional off-shift work. A Bachelor's degree in microbiology and hands-on lab experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in microbiology or equivalent with biology/microbiology lab coursework.
• Proficiency in laboratory data management and aseptic techniques.
• Familiarity with GLP and cGMP requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in functions impacting production and quality.
• Drive efficiency using LEAN principles (5S, Kaizens).
• Communicate progress and issues; propose solutions.
• Conduct biological testing on materials, in-process and final products.
• Perform routine lab tasks and maintain a clean, compliant workspace.
