Job summary

McGrath RentCorp seeks a Quality & Metrology Manager in Dallas, TX to lead the QMS and Metrology Program, ensuring ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 compliance. You will analyze data, drive improvements, and guide audits with minimal oversight.

The role requires a hands-on leader with 10+ years in质量 management and strong Excel/data skills, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years progressive experience in quality management, electrical metrology, and calibration.
• 5+ years leading staff in a quality, technical, laboratory, operations, or related environment.
• Proven experience leading internal audit programs, management reviews, corrective action systems, and external audits.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO/IEC 17025:2017, ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994, ANSI/NCSL Z540.3-2006, measurement uncertainty, risk-based quality management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the Quality Management System and Metrology Program.
• Maintain ISO 9001 certification and ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation.
• Lead internal audits, management reviews, corrective actions, and continual improvement initiatives.
• Analyze quality, operational, customer, supplier, and calibration data to identify trends and risks.
• Develop metrics, dashboards, and reports to support business decisions.
• Lead investigations into quality issues, audit findings, and nonconformances.
• Serve as primary contact for auditors and accreditation bodies.
• Lead and develop Quality Assurance personnel.
• Drive a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
