Job summary

Qualtronics in Columbus, Indiana seeks a Quality Manager to lead the quality team, own the Quality Management System (QMS), and drive corrective actions that improve product conformance and customer satisfaction.

You will partner with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Suppliers, and Customers to foster a proactive quality mindset while ensuring ISO and company standards are met across manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Detects and tracks nonconforming materials to ensure containment and resolution.
• Leads Corrective Action Reports (CARs) across departments to implement preventive actions and root cause analysis.
• Responds to customer complaints and CARs, completing required documentation and proactive communication.
• Partners with Production to resolve internal nonconformances, clarify specifications, and correct discrepancies before release to production.
• Analyzes quality data and performance metrics; shares findings to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Validates supplier corrective actions and consults with Purchasing on supplier nonconformances to ensure effectiveness.
• Tests and inspects in-process and finished products to verify conformance to specs and standards.
• Assists in PPAP documentation for new or revised parts per customer and manufacturing requirements.
• Recommends enhancements to inspection methods and packaging to improve efficiency and protection.
• Participates in customer tours and quality discussions explaining processes and cross-functional interactions.
