Job summary

Sierra Circuits, a Sunnyvale-based PCB manufacturer, seeks a Quality Manager to lead the quality team and maintain strict compliance with IPC/ISO standards. The role focuses on developing robust QA processes, audits, and continuous improvement across all fabrication stages to deliver defect-free PCBs.

You will guide root-cause analysis, manage customer service tickets post-shipment, and collaborate with engineering, production, and service teams to prevent recurrence of issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field, with advanced training in quality assurance preferred.
• Extensive experience in PCB manufacturing quality control processes.
• Strong knowledge of IPC/ISO standards and QMS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Quality Management System (QMS) development, implementation, and maintenance.
• Lead a team of quality inspectors and engineers across PCB production stages.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to reduce defects.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and customer specifications.
• Manage customer service inquiries and audit findings with timely closure.
• Coordinate internal/external recertifications (ISO, AS9100).
• Drive continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration to improve quality metrics.
