Job summary

Sierra Circuits, Inc. in Sunnyvale, California, is seeking a Quality Manager to lead our PCB quality program and drive continuous improvement across fabrication and assembly.

You will oversee QMS, audits, root-cause analysis, and a team of inspectors and engineers, partnering with engineering and operations to deliver defect-free PCBs for aerospace, medical, and telecom customers. The role requires IPC/ISO knowledge, strong leadership, and hands-on data analysis, with a focus on customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Extensive PCB manufacturing and quality control experience.
• Deep understanding of QMS and IPC/ISO standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and data interpretation skills.
• Proven leadership to manage a quality team and drive improvements.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Fluent in English and able to work across departments.

Responsibilities

• QMS oversight: develop and maintain a robust system aligned with industry standards.
• Quality inspections leadership across raw materials, in-process, and final testing.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventative measures.
• Manage customer service tickets and perform RCA with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate audits and recertifications (ISO, AS9100).
• Train and develop the quality team on new procedures and IPC600.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and customer service to address DFMs.
• Generate reports, track KPIs, and present findings to management.
