Job summary

The Pivot Group Network in Michigan is partnering with Mason manufacturers to find a qualified Quality Manager who can build and sustain robust Quality Management Systems.

You will lead the QA team, oversee product inspections, drive CAPA and continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
• ASQ certification (e.g., CQM/OE, CSSBB) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality management systems (QMS) and procedures.
• Lead and manage the quality assurance team, providing guidance and development.
• Oversee product inspection, testing, and release processes to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
• Manage non-conformances, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Conduct internal and external audits to assess QMS effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality into all stages of the product lifecycle.
