Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is assisting Lansing-area manufacturers in identifying a seasoned Quality Manager to lead QMS, QA/QC teams, and supplier quality initiatives. This role focuses on enforcing specifications, reducing defects, and driving CAPA for continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates hold a engineering/quality degree with 7+ years of QA/QC experience in manufacturing and are familiar with ISO 9001, AS9100, and IATF 16949. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in quality assurance/quality control within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience implementing and managing Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949).
• Proven ability to lead and develop quality teams, including strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CQM/OE) or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt are highly preferred.

• Oversee product inspection, testing, and release processes to ensure compliance with specifications.
