Job summary

nVent in Hitchcock, Texas, is seeking a senior Quality leader to shape the site’s quality strategy, build and develop the quality team, and drive product performance and customer satisfaction. You will own the site’s quality system, lead ISO audits, champion continuous improvement, and partner with operations to reduce scrap and variation while providing clear updates to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, manufacturing, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years leading quality in manufacturing or construction.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO standards and audits.
• Experience with root cause analysis and CAPA (8D, etc.).
• Leadership experience and data-driven improvement.
• Experience handling customer quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Own the site’s quality system, including audits, ISO compliance, procedures and continuous improvement.
• Lead and develop the quality team (supervisors, technicians, inspectors).
• Drive root cause analysis and CAPA to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
• Partner with operations to reduce scrap, rework and variation.
• Oversee inspections, testing and quality metrics for product performance.
• Act as point of contact for customer quality concerns, returns and escalations.
• Deliver training to strengthen quality awareness across the plant.
• Provide updates and insights to plant and corporate leadership.
