Job summary

Goshen Engineering in Mount Olive, NC, is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the development and continual improvement of our ISO 9001-based quality system. You will stay close to production, inspections, supplier performance, warranty matters, and field service while guiding a team of technicians.

Reporting to the President, you will oversee QA and QC activities for custom switchboards and automation solutions, build quality plans with engineering and operations, coordinate audits,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• Ten or more years of quality, manufacturing, or engineering experience with leadership.
• Experience in ISO 9001, AS9100, or IATF 16949 quality systems.
• Experience using PFMEA, control plans, 8D, CAPA, and FAI.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ISO 9001 quality management system documentation.
• Establish quality objectives and metrics, and report to leadership.
• Supervise quality technicians and field service repair personnel.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and operations on quality plans.
• Lead audits and coordinate supplier qualification and corrective actions.
• Maintain quality records and drive 5S and continuous improvement.
• Serve as primary contact for customer quality concerns.
