RW Screw LLC in Massillon, Ohio is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee quality assurance and control across machining operations. You will lead the quality team, develop QMS, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes PFMEA, APQP, CAPA, SPC, and robust measurement systems; you will coordinate external audits and supplier quality initiatives to ensure sustained product excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; QA certification preferred.
• ASQ CQM or CQE certification is desirable.
• 7+ years of manufacturing quality experience; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 quality management systems and serve as Management Representative.
• Lead the Quality Assurance team and drive training and development.
• Plan and control quality processes, PFMEA, control plans, and APQP for new and existing parts.
• Oversee calibration, CMMs, gauges, and measurement systems; ensure MSA compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement using Six Sigma, Lean, RCA; monitor SPC/CpK for process capability.
• Lead CAPA programs, track corrective actions and close actions timely.
• Monitor KPIs (scrap, rework, first-pass yield, COPQ) and report to senior management.
• Coordinate internal and customer audits (IATF16949, ISO9001) and supplier audits.
• Manage customer complaints and supplier quality performance; coordinate cross-functional actions.
• Lead PPAP and APQP activities for new product launches; ensure full qualification before production.
