Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Quality Manager 1 to lead inspection teams at sites in Elkridge and Halethorpe, supporting production readiness and ISO/LEAN quality initiatives. The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing or quality, a relevant degree, and the ability to obtain a US Government Secret Clearance.

The work involves driving continuous improvement, auditing systems, and coordinating with engineering to resolve nonconformances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years in manufacturing and/or quality.
• Master’s Degree with 3+ years in manufacturing and/or quality.
• Associate’s Degree with 7+ years in manufacturing and/or quality.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance.
• Experience in DOD manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive the team to achieve monthly delivery objectives and contractual requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement or lean projects and interface with engineering.
• Audit quality systems for deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
• Document and standardize inspection, testing, and evaluation processes.
• Provide data-driven analyses to support decision-making and reporting.
