Job summary

The Walsh Group, Ltd. is seeking a Quality Manager I for a federal project in the greater Omaha area.

You will implement, improve, and execute the Quality Management System (QMS) and project-specific quality programs to ensure design and construction meet company and contract requirements. As a fourth-generation, family-owned business, Walsh emphasizes growth, training, and development, with opportunities to work across the United States and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

AEC Bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent related field experience with industry certifications.
USACE/NAVFAC/NRC Construction Quality Management certification preferred but not required.
Minimum 7 years of AEC experience, with 3 years in a Quality role.

Responsibilities

Quality champion for a project or multiple projects, responsible for quality management duties and close-out.
Mentors and trains project staff in quality management principles and project-specific requirements.
Lead and manage quality processes including work planning, material management, incident reports and follow-ups.
Establish and report KPIs and QIRs to drive continuous improvement.
Audit project quality programs and provide feedback on non-conformances and client perceptions.
