Responsibilities
- Monitor and improve the site's established quality management system
- Oversee and ensure regulatory and legal compliance, including leading and guiding all direct reports to confirm compliance
- Manage and lead root cause analysis and ensure countermeasures are completed
- Handle customer quality concerns and update them on the quality status
- Oversee daily operation of the quality lab and ensure testing goals are met
- Prepare for and execute internal and external quality audits
- Drive and achieve quality continuous improvement initiatives
- Interact with plant and corporate teams on quality projects
- Ensure product quality documentation meets regulatory requirements
- Lead and participate in cross-functional teams related to plant quality
- Update and maintain the site HACCP plan and adhere to HACCP requirements
- Follow industry regulations
- Execute and improve quality training
- Complete non-routine quality projects and higher level crisis management
- Monitor and oversee the quality budget
- Other tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally in biology or chemistry related fields
- At least 2-3 years in a similar quality management role
- Experience overseeing quality in HACCP regulated environments
- Working knowledge of HACCP processes
- Experience overseeing quality control functions (examples: auditing, non-conformances, root cause analysis, countermeasures, etc.)
- Supervision of others
- Microsoft Office
Preferred Skills (Optional)
- Six Sigma or Lean methodologies
- Quality lab management
- Customer communication

Location
Candidates are preferred to be local to the Findlay, Ohio area; there is a conservative relocation package available.
