Job summary

FWI seeks a Quality Manager to lead quality control for a high-volume federal records operation supporting USCIS at the NRC in Lee’s Summit, MO. You will run audits, manage quality auditors and trainers, and ensure every task meets federal standards and contract performance levels.

This on-site role requires Six Sigma Black Belt or strong equivalent, and a proven track record of compliant procedures. Occasional travel to Harrisonburg, VA may be required with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree as listed; no substitution.
• 3+ years of experience managing quality control operations.
• Experience writing Quality Control and Quality Improvement Plans on federal contracts.
• Six Sigma Black Belt, or able to earn within 180 days of contract award.
• Residency in the U.S. for at least 3 of the past 5 years.
• USCIS Public Trust suitability determination (SF-85P) required before start.

Responsibilities

• Own all quality activities across contract task areas at your site.
• Lead a team of quality auditors and tutors who handle audit and training functions.
• Prepare and monitor internal procedures for compliance with government regulations and policies.
• Coordinate operational and administrative actions with site managers.
• Use Six Sigma methods to find root causes and keep performance improving.
