Job summary

Dickerson & Bowen seeks a Quality Manager to coordinate QM functions and oversee QC programs for aggregate and HMA production across Mississippi facilities. You will provide technical support, develop QM initiatives, and share best practices aligned with Granite Construction standards.

The role requires a BS in engineering, PE preferred, and extensive experience in quality management, testing, mix design, and audits, with strong communication and leadership skills to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering and 10 years experience or 25 years technical/managerial experience in construction and construction materials.
• ISO/Internal Auditor Certification preferred but not required.
• Registered Professional Engineer desired.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all quality control activities for aggregate and HMA production facilities including laboratory testing, QA programs, mix design validation, and ensuring QC standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process.
• Assist and support QM programs and establishment of operation specific quality programs to assure compliance with project requirements.
• Provide technical support for QC managers and operations to ensure rapid resolution of technical challenges and customer service needs.
• Develop and disseminate best practices and standard operating procedures based on process improvements.
• Perform QM audits of area, region, and project quality operations to assure compliance with standards.
