Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field required.
• ASQ certification preferred (CQE, CQA, CQM/OE) is desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality Department, including Quality Engineers and Quality Lab staff, in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Provide leadership in troubleshooting quality issues and resolve customer/internal complaints with effective corrective actions.
• Support startup and implementation of new coating and slitting operation with new testing equipment, QMS, and quality processes.
• Monitor process capability and drive lean / six sigma projects; develop and audit corrective/preventive actions for customer complaints.
• Manage employee performance, training, and development; ensure certification requirements and performance standards are met.
