Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a Manager Quality to lead the QA and lean initiatives at the North Vernon, IN site. This role manages the quality team, supplier quality, and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies, while driving continuous improvement across processes and metrics.

The position requires a strong background in automotive quality, Six Sigma/Lean, and leadership of engineers, with experience in regulatory frameworks and data-driven problem solving.

Qualifications

• Professional experience focused on Quality Management in automotive/engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes (welding, assembly, stamping).
• Six Sigma/Lean experience with quality core tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA).
• IATF experience.
• Analytical aptitude; Power BI experience is a plus.
• Proven track record of leading and developing engineers.
• Proficient in problem-solving tools (Five Why, 8D, Shainin/DEMAIC).

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily quality and lean activities, audits, and regulatory coordination.
• Manages staff and resources for QA coverage and performance management.
• Develops and implements programs to ensure regulatory and internal standards.
• Leads supplier quality management and audits of product/processes.
• Reports quality metrics and drives continuous improvement initiatives.
