Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their Three Rivers, Michigan team. This fully onsite role focuses on ensuring products and processes meet standards, participates in quality-improvement projects, and conducts audits and data analysis to drive reliability and quality enhancements.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 3-5+ years in automotivequality, and at least 1 year in APQP and process auditing. Travel of ~5-10% may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 3-5+ years of Quality experience in automotive manufacturing.
  • 1+ year of APQP and process audit experience.
  • Willingness and ability to travel ~5-10% as requested.
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as requested.

Responsibilities

  • Recommends quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes.
  • Researches statistical confidence by identifying sample size and acceptable error rate; determining levels of confidence.
  • Analyzes quality data from plant processes or customer indicators.
  • Provides feedback to customers based on quality projects (e.g., warranty, APQP, issues, etc.).
  • Leads quality investigations and problem solving.
  • Maintains statistical process controls and analyzes data to determine deviations from standards.
