Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the Quality and business excellence efforts for ForceX, driving continual improvement of processes and products. The role requires hands-on leadership and close collaboration with supply chain, software engineering, contracts and program management to meet targets.

Ideal candidates will have extensive AS9100/ISO 9001 experience, ATP/FAI background, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years related experience in Quality or equivalent combination
• Minimum 7+ years experience with AS9100/ISO 9001 and other quality standards
• AS9100 or AS9100 auditor certification
• Experience with ATPs and FAI; knowledge of FAR/DFAR/ITAR; DO-178 experience a plus
• Ability to obtain Secret Security clearance (U.S. citizenship)

Responsibilities

• Lead quality and business excellence efforts; drive process and product improvement
• Collaborate with engineering, production, contracts and program management
• Oversee AS9100 certification and ensure ongoing compliance
• Conduct audits and inspections; drive corrective actions and improvements
• Analyze data to identify trends and lead root-cause analysis
• Communicate quality performance to senior management
• Maintain documentation for QA processes and procedures
• Support continuous improvement and cost reduction efforts
• Travel up to 10% as required
