L3Harris Technologies in Huntsville, AL, is seeking a Sr. Associate, Quality Engineering to develop and implement standards for inspecting and testing materials in compliance with contractual requirements.

The role leads MRB and PFMEA activities, interfaces with production, engineering, customers, and suppliers, and supports program quality cost management and supplier corrective actions. A U.S. Secret clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree plus 2 years of related experience, or Graduate Degree with 0–2 years of related experience; or in lieu of a degree, 6 years of quality or manufacturing experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, quality engineering, or related operational environments.
• Working knowledge of quality processes, nonconformance management, and basic problem-solving methods.

Responsabilités

• Ensure design and process documentation incorporates program quality requirements and supports inspectability.
• Lead PFMEA activities to identify, quantify, and mitigate risk.
• Participate in MRB activities, including segregation, control, disposition, and implementation of MRB decisions.
• Investigate root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Apply quality engineering tools to provide practical solutions to technical problems.
