Job summary

SGB-SMIT USA, a division of SGB‑SMIT Group, seeks a Quality Manager in Oklahoma City to lead the Quality Management System and ensure quality across manufacturing, testing, and final inspection of power transformers.

The role requires extensive experience in quality management within heavy electrical equipment, strong ISO 9001 knowledge, and cross-functional collaboration in an international environment. Competitive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, quality management or equivalent.
• Several years of experience in quality management within power transformers or heavy electrical equipment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, quality tools, and industrial manufacturing processes.
• Experience with supplier quality management and audits.
• Structured, analytical working style with strong problem-solving skills.
• Confident communication skills in a cross-functional, international environment.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, and physical.
• Complete a satisfactory nationwide criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001 and industry standards.
• Ensure quality assurance throughout manufacturing, testing, and final inspection of power transformers.
• Manage supplier quality, audits, and corrective action processes.
• Analyze quality data, drive root cause analysis, and implement continuous improvement measures.
• Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and utility-specific requirements.
• Act as key quality interface for internal teams, customers, and external auditors.
