Job summary

SGB-SMIT USA is seeking a QA inspector to conduct inspections and tests on manufactured products, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards. Read blueprints and drawings to guide production quality, and document findings to support continuous improvement.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, about 1 year of manufacturing experience (ISO preferred), and proficiency in Microsoft Office. On-site position with benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year manufacturing experience, preferably with an ISO certified company.
• Preference for QA/QC/Quality Auditing experience in ISO 9001 manufacturing organization.
• Ability to read manufacturing drawings.
• Strong background in Microsoft Office suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and tests on manufactured products to verify compliance with specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints/drawings and specifications to ensure production aligns with quality standards.
• Identify areas for improvement in production processes and product requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and QC processes to assist root cause analysis.

Your tasks:

• Conduct inspections and tests on manufactured products, materials, and equipment to verify compliance with specifications.
• Drawings and Specification Review: Read and interpret blueprints/ drawings and specifications to ensure that production process align with quality standard.
• Identify areas for improvement in production processes and product requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control processes to assist in root cause and trends.

Your profile:

• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• 1 year manufacturing experience, preferably with an ISO Certified company.
• Preference for a Quality Assurance/ Quality Control/ Quality Auditing experience in ISO 9001 certified manufacturing organization.
• Ability to read manufacturing drawings.
• Strong background in Microsoft Software, (Excel, Word, and Power Point)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, and physical.
