Job summary

SGB-SMIT USA is seeking a dedicated Quality professional to reinforce our quality management system and ensure compliant manufacturing of transformers. You will lead PPAP activities, define CTQ metrics, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to drive quality improvements across the facility.

The role requires a strong knowledge of ISO 9001 (14001/45001 a plus), hands-on experience with quality tools, and the ability to manage audits and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 3–5 years of experience in a quality role.
• Strong computer skills with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Excellent knowledge of ISO 9001; 14001/45001 is a plus.
• Ability to pass nationwide background check, physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Develop standard quality policies and procedures and quality system development.
• Lead PPAP for suppliers and manufacturing.
• Define product specification quality requirements and CTQ metrics.
• Review and develop Quality Control Plans and PFMEA.
• Collaborate with suppliers on corrective actions using QMS methods.
