Job summary

Kimball Solutions is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the plant quality organization, driving world-class processes, supplier and customer quality, and CAPA across the site. You will ensure compliance with ISO/TUV/UL/FDA, oversight of MSDS, and staffing and budget for the quality department, promoting continuous improvement.

A Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and an engineering degree are required, with experience in electronics manufacturing and quality systems.

High Level Statement of the Role

The Quality Manager serves as the team leader of the plant Quality organization. The quality manager finds, implements, and maximizes the utilization of world class people, processes, systems, software, and techniques for relentless, continuous, measurable improvement in every area of the organization. The quality manager is directly responsibility via the organization he/she heads, for supplier quality, quality engineering, failure analysis engineering, reliability engineering and testing, customer quality, RMA/field failure analysis, and corrective and preventive actions, compliance with customer specifications, compliance with industrial standards, certifications, and regulations, as well as receiving and outgoing inspection and audit.

• Leads plant Quality Organization
• Drives continuous improvement in customer satisfaction and cost of quality
• Responsible for staffing and budgeting of quality department
