Job summary

LEYBOLD USA INC is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee all quality functions at the Export, PA site. You will drive continuous improvement across the Systems and Solutions Team, manage quality personnel, lead audits, support ISO initiatives, and respond proactively to manufacturing and customer issues.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Quality, 7+ years in quality or manufacturing with 3+ years in leadership, and familiarity with ISO standards, Lean, and SAP.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
  • 7+ years in quality, manufacturing, or training roles; 3+ years in leadership.
  • Manufacturing Engineering experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the quality team and all quality processes.
  • Develop and maintain quality systems, procedures, and documentation.
  • Review customer specifications and manage inspection/test plans.
  • Conduct internal audits and ensure ISO compliance.
  • Track and report quality KPIs and cost of quality metrics.
  • Address customer complaints, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Oversee inspections of incoming, in‑process, and finished products.
  • Manage NCRs, DMRs, and supplier quality issues.
  • Support supplier audits and drive improvements with Supply Chain.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and participate in global quality initiatives.
  • Conduct quality training and onboarding for new employees.

Your role

  • Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Self‑driven, adaptable, and results‑oriented.
