Job summary

LHH is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the Quality Management System in a growing manufacturing environment in Park Ridge, IL. You will ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

You will drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, oversee audits, and mentor a quality team to elevate product quality, process capability, and supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Industrial Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and audit leadership.
• Strong understanding of quality tools, SPC, CAPA, root cause analysis, FMEA, PPAP, and control plans.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and quality reporting tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.
• Drive quality assurance, quality control, supplier quality, customer quality, and corrective action initiatives.
• Oversee internal, customer, and third-party audits.
• Develop and implement quality policies, procedures, inspection standards, and control plans.
• Monitor and improve key quality metrics, including FPY, defect rates, customer returns, supplier performance, and COPQ.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activities using quality tools such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and Pareto Analysis.
• Partner with suppliers to improve quality performance and resolve issues.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing scrap, rework, and customer complaints.
• Serve as the primary quality contact for customers and support customer audits and quality reviews.
• Develop and mentor quality team members while fostering a proactive quality culture across the organization.

Salary Range: $100,000-$120,000
