Watlow’s Advanced Technology Center in St. Louis, MO seeks a Quality Management System Engineer II to advance ISO 9001/2015 compliance and sustain excellence in the Quality team. You will oversee QMS development, audits, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.

Based in St. Louis, this role reports to an Engineering Manager and requires up to 25% travel for audits and training.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or two-year degree with related experience (5-8 years)
Experience with a QMS in a regulated industry and regulatory surveillance preferred
Experience leading individuals or teams and delivering on time.

Responsibilities

Perform safety-oriented tasks and promote a secure work environment.
Manage QMS initiatives and auditing functions; lead cross-departmental teams.
Prepare and maintain the Quality Management System to meet compliance standards.
Plan, conduct and manage internal and external audits for customers and regulatory bodies; close post-audit actions.
Provide QMS training to employees to ensure proper implementation and adherence to standards.
Lead management reviews, risk assessments, 6S events, and CI projects; ensure timely execution of actions.
Investigate QMS compliance issues and drive corrective actions with relevant departments.
Travel up to 25% to support audits, training, and compliance activities.
