The Agency for Persons with Disabilities seeks a Quality Management Coordinator to perform internal QA audits of APD programs and operations, develop standardized audit tools, and analyze findings to identify systemic trends and risks.

The role provides data‑driven recommendations to leadership for improvement, requires travel across Florida to regional and community locations, and is not eligible for telework.

Qualifications

• Experience auditing data to support decision‑making.
• Ability to provide technical assistance to ensure correct interpretation of requirements.
• Ability to evaluate data for reliability and validity and suggest solutions.
• Ability to assess policies for federal, state, and agency compliance.
• Knowledge of APD service delivery, remediation components, and DD/HCBS Handbooks.
• Familiarity with CMS assurances and related requirements.

The Quality Management Coordinator (Government Operations Consultant II) at the Agency for Persons with Disabilities conducts comprehensive internal quality assurance audits of APD programs and operations to assess compliance with federal and state law, rule, and code. The position develops standardized audit tools and methodologies, analyzes findings to identify systemic trends and risks, and provides data-driven recommendations to leadership for improvement. This role requires travel throughout Florida to regional and community locations and is not eligible for telework.

Key qualifications:

• Experience analyzing program requirements and auditing data to provide qualitative and quantitative data for decision-making
• Experience providing technical assistance and customer service to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of federal and state requirements
• Experience evaluating reliability and validity of reported data to provide recommendations and viable solutions to complex problems
• Experience analyzing and evaluating policies and procedures to determine compliance with federal, state, and agency requirements
• Knowledge of APD service delivery systems, Quality Management Remediation components, and DD/HCBS Handbooks
• Knowledge of current CMS Assurances/Sub-assurance requirements and Microsoft Suite
