Job summary

Altec Industries, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Quality in St. Joseph, MO to lead the Midwest Quality organization. You will drive quality systems across campus, coordinate with Quality Engineering, auditors, and suppliers, and ensure ISO 9001 certification is sustained.

The role emphasizes strategic quality management, development of leaders, and cross-team collaboration to meet operational goals and customer expectations. A bachelor's degree and leadership experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience with direct reports.
• Mechanical aptitude with product/industry knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality-management applications.
• Ability to travel, sometimes on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality systems and strategy for multiple teams; ensure objectives are met.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, development, and performance expectations.
• Establish and maintain quality procedures, standards, and documentation.
• Lead the quality roadmap and sustain closed-loop quality processes.
• Oversee nonconformance, CAPA, audits, and supplier quality.
• Review customer requirements and support issue resolution.
