Job summary

AMETEK is seeking a Quality Manager in the United States to lead the QMS and ensure ISO 9001 compliance while driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. You will oversee CAPA, audits, and quality metrics, collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed best practices.

The role requires 5+ years in quality leadership, Lean and Six Sigma experience, and strong analytical and communication skills. The position supports global quality initiatives and ongoing employee training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• Certification in Quality and/or Lean Manufacturing required.
• Experience developing and maintaining ISO systems (e.g., ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 13485).
• Proven experience driving continuous improvement initiatives in a Lean manufacturing environment.
• Six Sigma experience required; Green Belt preferred.
• Experience leading Kaizen events or continuous improvement workshops preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to influence change and drive results across cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Demonstrated potential for advancement into senior leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality function and maintain ISO 9001 certification.
• Analyze quality metrics and oversee CAPA processes.
• Provide training and guidance for root cause analysis and corrective action.
• Ensure compliance with global regulations and internal requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to drive QMS adoption.
• Develop and implement quality programs and initiatives.
• Prepare quality metrics for leadership review.
• Oversee internal and external audits (ISO and customer).
• Maintain and improve QMS documentation.
• Conduct QMS training for employees.
