Job summary

Sure Steel, Inc. seeks a Quality Manager to develop and oversee quality control programs across fabrication and construction activities. You will ensure project standards, codes, and specifications are met with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of steel construction processes, and the ability to collaborate with shop and field teams to drive continuous quality improvements and prevent rework.

Qualifications

• Must be able to develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC programs for fabrication and erection activities.
• Ability to conduct inspections and internal audits of shop and field activities to ensure compliance with codes and project specs.
• Coordinate with teams to resolve quality issues and prevent reoccurrence.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC programs, procedures, and inspections for fabrication and erection activities.
• Conduct inspections and audits of mass timber installation, fabrication shops, materials, and job sites for quality compliance.
• Review shop drawings, erection plans, and material docs to ensure accuracy and compliance before fabrication and installation.
