Job summary

Trane Technologies plc in the United States seeks a Leadership-focused Quality Leader for Residential HVAC to drive world-class quality systems, lead cross-functional teams, and reduce the cost of quality across manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering.

You will oversee quality and reliability initiatives, participate in the Enterprise Quality Council, and mentor teams toward a Zero Quality Defect mindset while delivering measurable KPI improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required; Master's degree preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in quality management, program and project management in design/engineering/manufacturing.
• Professional certification (CPM, APICS, Six Sigma, CQM, PE) preferred.
• Strong leadership and knowledge in APQP, PPAP, A3 thinking, FMEA and Control Plans.

Responsibilities

• Create a robust organization through transformational change and cross-functional alignment to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Lead quality initiatives and ensure compliance with policy and regulatory strategies.
• Drive a proactive Quality team and foster a zero quality defect mindset.
• Communicate KPI status and drive improvements across manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering.
• Collaborate with departments to meet objectives and milestones; manage risk analyses.
• Actively participate in the Enterprise Quality Council and uphold quality policies.
