Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in a science field and at least five years in manufacturing quality, with strong analytical and communication skills. Proficiency with ERP and QMS software is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of quality lab or quality management in manufacturing.
• Experience in chemical products manufacturing/packaging considered a plus.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or equivalent quality standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow Malco’s Quality Policy and Quality Objectives.
• Administer and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) across the facility; ensure ISO compliance.
• Plan, conduct, and oversee all quality inspections and evaluations throughout the product lifecycle.
• Investigate root causes and drive corrective actions for nonconformances and customer complaints.
• Maintain proper documentation of manufacturing processes and quality records per QMS requirements.
• Develop, manage, and mentor direct reports including chemists and lab technicians.
• Manage product and material specifications and ensure conformance across lines.
• Monitor and authorize release of finished products prior to shipment.
• Plan and perform validations for processes, equipment, and methods.
