Malco Products’ Barberton Facility is seeking a Quality Lab Technician on 1st shift. The role conducts incoming material inspection, batch testing, and maintains quality documentation to ensure products meet specifications.

You will collaborate with suppliers, support root cause analyses, and assist in QA audits while contributing to continuous improvement projects. Qualified candidates typically have an Associate degree or higher in a scientific field and 1–3 years of lab/QC experience.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree or higher in Chemistry, Biology, or related scientific field preferred.
• 1–3 years laboratory or quality control experience in manufacturing preferred; entry level considered with relevant education.
• Familiarity with QMS (e.g., ISO 9001) and GLP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn QC software.

Aufgaben

• Perform incoming inspection and C of A/C of C verification for materials.
• Conduct batch testing and communicate results to production.
• Calibrate measuring and testing equipment and maintain calibration records.
• Generate monthly quality reports and track quality metrics.
• Assist in customer complaint investigations and root cause analysis.
• Support QA site audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
