Job summary

MagReTech, LLC is seeking a Quality Lead Technician / CMM Operator to oversee quality control and perform precise dimensional inspections. You will use PC-DMIS and other precision tools, review CAD drawings in SolidWorks, and ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and ASME codes.

This in-person role requires a hands-on approach to continuous improvement. You will lead inspections with bore gauges, micrometers, and CMMs, maintain detailed records, and collaborate with manufacturing

Qualifications

• CMM operation on PC-DMIS or equivalent.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
• Mechanical knowledge of machining processes and tooling.
• Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and ASME standards.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and CAD drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform comprehensive quality inspections using CMMs and handheld tools.
• Operate and maintain CMM equipment to verify part dimensions against drawings and GD&T.
• Review SolidWorks CAD files to interpret inspection requirements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection records, calibration logs, and quality documentation for audits.
• Support continuous improvement by analyzing inspection data.
