Job summary

DRT Aerospace, LLC is seeking a detail-driven CMM Quality Inspector to join our aerospace manufacturing team. You will inspect precision-machined components using CMMs, vision systems, and manual inspection tools to ensure conformance to engineering drawings and industry standards.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of quality inspection experience, read blueprints, understand GD&T, and work independently while collaborating with Engineering and Manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of quality inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Basic understanding of GD&T.
• Experience with CMMs and precision measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CMMs for in-process and final inspections.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections on machined components.
• Document inspection results and nonconformances.
• Prepare FAIRs and maintain quality records.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality teams.
