Job summary

Accelerate Talent Group seeks a Quality Technician III in Richfield, WI, to perform advanced dimensional inspections of machined components using CMMs and precision tools. You will interpret drawings and GD&T, conduct FAIs, and develop inspection plans to ensure conformance to customer and regulatory requirements.

The role requires 5+ years in quality assurance within precision machining, PC-DMIS experience, and strong metrology knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5+ years QA in precision machining/manufacturing
• Hands-on PC-DMIS programming and operation of CMMs
• Strong GD&T, blueprint reading and metrology
• Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality systems
• Knowledge of SPC, PPAP, corrective actions and root cause analysis
• Analytical, well-documented, and communicative
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced dimensional inspections of machined components using CMMs and precision tools
• Interprets complex drawings, GD&T, specifications and customer requirements
• Conducts First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102 or customer requirements
• Develops and maintains inspection plans, control plans and quality documentation
• Supports PPAP submissions and customer qualification processes
• Leads root cause analysis and corrective action for nonconforming product
• Assists in calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment
• Mentors and trains junior QA technicians and production personnel on quality processes
• Participates in internal and external audits (ISO 9001, AS9100, customer audits)
• Collaborates with engineering and production to drive process improvements and prevent recurrence of quality issues
• Ensures compliance with company, customer and regulatory requirements
