Job summary

Sabre Industries is seeking a Lead Inspector to ensure parts and poles meet design standards and to direct the QC team under the QC Manager. The role involves leading daily inspection activities, training staff, and maintaining accurate records.

The position requires reading blueprints, basic welding knowledge, and strong communication. Work is in a manufacturing environment with focus on safety and quality control.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year in Quality Control or related field.
• Ability to read blueprints and verify parts to print.
• Welding background is a plus; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Working Lead Person directing daily QC tasks.
• Perform inspection functions and oversee inspectors (excluding NDT).
• Communicate management instructions clearly on a daily basis.
• Train and develop inspectors; ensure accurate documentation.
• Lead safety meetings and maintain pass-down logs.
• Ensure compliance with Sabre Tubular Structures safety standards.
