Job summary

Sabre Industries, a leader in telecom and data center solutions, is hiring a Quality Engineer to drive conformance to customer specifications and industry standards. You will establish quality standards, supervise QC inspectors, and foster continuous improvement across manufacturing and supply chains.

The role requires a technical engineering background, CQE or Six Sigma Black Belt, and experience with ISO 9001 and FMEA.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree in a technical discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering) or equivalent work experience.
• CQE or Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
• Fundamental experience implementing ISO 9001 or similar quality standards.
• Strong knowledge of FMEA, control plans, and robust technical procedures.
• Ability to read complex engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with MS Office and data-driven reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality standards for telecom, ESS enclosures, and data center modules.
• Lead QC inspectors with technical direction and training.
• Implement advanced QC processes including FMEA, CAPA, and 8D problem solving.
• Review engineering drawings, BOMs, and specifications for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor quality metrics such as FPY and COQ to drive improvements.
• Communicate quality status to engineering, production, and suppliers.
