Job summary

SolarEdge, a global leader in smart energy technology, is seeking a Quality Lead for the third shift in Austin, TX. You will oversee QC activities, manage a team of inspectors, and collaborate with production to maintain high-quality board assemblies and processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or above.
• At least 3 years in QC within SMT/WS/BOX build production.
• At least 2 years of people management experience.
• Experience in process audits for SMT/WS/TLA processes.
• Familiarity with IPC610 and audit implementation.

Responsibilities

• Execute OBA inspection according to SE procedures.
• Conduct process audits and random inspections per SE procedures.
• Notify CM Quality, QA Director, and Quality Engineers for issues and follow up root cause actions.
• Provide daily reports on boards/units inspections.
• Generate daily reports on process audits and findings.
• Support QC inspectors during urgent workload periods.
• Ensure smooth handover to next shift on quality issues and ECOs.
